Announcement and Call for Posters

Recent advances in reconfigurable electronics and microsystems are revolutionizing space including compact and low cost spacecraft. ReSpace/MAPLD 2010 will be the first conference to address the underlying electronics, components, and systems technologies along with the workforce development and management to fuel this revolution and explore the impact of these changes on global space industry.

ReSpace/MAPLD 2010 is seeking posters from industry, government, and academic institutions for the OPEN FORUM session of the conference.  The Conference Organizers want to stress that this is an OPEN FORUM intended to draw in topics beyond the bounds of the Presentation Tracks. Posters will be grouped by general topic to allow viewers to compare and contrast the information and the authors to network among themselves in their area of interest, but these should not be taken as a limit to what the presenter can bring to the conference.

GENERAL TOPICS:

  • Responsive Space Missions
  • Rapid Response Architectures
  • Operating in the Space Environment
  • Responsive Space Hardware
  • Responsive Space Software
  • Evolving Standards for Responsive Space
  • Ground Systems for Responsive Space
  • FPGA-based systems: Memories, power, I/O
  • System-On-a-Chip (SOC) architectures
  • Next Generation Programmable Devices
  • Development Tools for Programmable Devices
  • Pushing the Envelope in FPGA/PLD Performance
  • Preparing the Next Generation of Engineers and Scientists.
