COSMIAC recognizes that the ability
of the aerospace and defense communities to embrace and implement
new microsystem-based solutions depends heavily
on a skilled and creative workforce prepared
with the right technical skills, experience,
and insights. COSMIAC strongly believes that
providing diverse and quality preparation opportunities
is critical to producing the high quality engineers
and technicians needed to sustain long term
growth of the FPGA, and other microcontroller related fields.
COSMIAC provides the following
education and workforce development programs
that address all need levels from the industrial
edge to secondary education:
 |
Technical and
engineering workforce development program
in which COSMIAC meets the emerging needs
of microsystem professionals through
the development and instruction of special
courses and tutorials available online,
at COSMIAC facilities, at COSMIAC partner
facilities, or at customer locations; |
 |
University
programming in which COSMIAC staff and
professional educators prepare and package
curricula emphasizing contemporary logic
design tools, platforms, and skills; |
 |
Community college
level support (click here) in the form of staff tutorials,
workshops, and curricula development; |
 |
FPGA Learning
Lab program in which the specific needs
