Tutorial 8 provides an introduction to IP Cores on Xilinx ISE 10.1 and the Spartan-3E starter board. IP Cores provide digital designers a tool that can speed up development time and induce standardization in their designs. Readers will create and simulate a design with Xilinx's CORE Generator System.
